Four specialist brands, one Australian owner

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Neural Networks Group Pty Ltd (ABN 53 691 933 632) is an Australian company based in Sydney. This policy explains how we handle personal information on nngdigital.com.au, which is the group’s corporate website.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. This site, and the sites it points to

Neural Networks Group Pty Ltd (ABN 53 691 933 632) owns and operates Ausvanta, Cognify Digital, Pulse Reach Digital and RANIA Academy. It is also developing Qably, shown on our Products page. Each brand has its own website and its own privacy policy. This policy covers only nngdigital.com.au. When you follow a link from here to one of those sites, the policy published there applies to what you do on it.

2. What we collect

When you contact us

The enquiry form on our contact page asks for your name, your email address and a message. Nothing else on that form is required and we do not ask for anything else. If you email or call us instead, we keep that correspondence so we can deal with your enquiry and refer back to it.

Automatically, when you visit

  • Usage analytics. Pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser type, measured by Google Analytics. It is loaded with the Google tag (gtag.js), served from Google Tag Manager.
  • Session recordings and heatmaps. Microsoft Clarity records mouse movement, scrolling and clicks so we can find usability problems. Text you type into form fields is masked by Clarity’s default configuration.
  • Sharing buttons. AddToAny’s sharing script loads on our pages to provide share buttons. It sets its own identifiers when you use one.
  • Server and security logs. Your IP address and details of the request, retained on our web server (Amazon Web Services, Sydney) for security and troubleshooting.

This site does not run an advertising pixel.

What we do not collect

Through this website we do not collect health information, biometric information, government identifiers, financial account details, or information about your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, sexual orientation or criminal record. Please do not send sensitive information of that kind through the enquiry form.

3. Why we collect it

  • To answer your enquiry, and to put you in touch with whichever of our brands is the right one for what you need.
  • To keep the website secure, available and usable.
  • To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

If you ask us not to contact you again, we will honour that. We do not send bulk marketing email from this website’s enquiry form, and there is no newsletter signup on this site.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need in order to run the site, with the team behind one of our brands where your enquiry is for that brand, and where the law requires it.

Within our own group, an enquiry that is plainly for one of our brands is passed to the people who run it — for example a training question to RANIA Academy. It is the same company either way, and the information is not passed outside it.

5. Overseas disclosure

The recipients in the table above that store or process information overseas are Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation, AddToAny and SMTP2GO. Each runs infrastructure in more than one country, so your information is likely to be stored or processed in the United States and may be processed in other countries where those companies operate. Before disclosing information to an overseas recipient we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, as APP 8 requires. If you want to know where a particular provider handled your information, ask us and we will find out and tell you.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead anywhere: up to 24 months.
  • Correspondence about work we went on to do: for the life of the engagement and seven years afterwards.
  • Financial records: five years, as tax law requires.
  • Server and security logs: as long as our web server retains them, which is a matter of weeks.

7. Cookies, analytics and tracking

Google Analytics (through the Google tag), Microsoft Clarity and AddToAny set cookies or similar identifiers.

Every visitor can accept or reject non-essential analytics at any time with the Cookie choices button at the bottom of every page. If your browser is set to a European or UK time zone, we ask first, and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity stay off until you choose Accept. For all other visitors they run until you choose Reject. Choosing Reject stops Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity and clears the cookies they set on this site. Your choice is stored on your device in a first-party cookie named nng_consent (and in your browser’s local storage) for 180 days.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on; the site will still work.

8. Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS from Amazon Web Services in Sydney. Administrative access is limited to people who need it and is protected by individual accounts. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.

9. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Write to the address below. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for asking, and if we refuse we will tell you why in writing and how to complain.

10. Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first, at the address below, and we will investigate and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you can take the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner — oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. If we make a material change to how we handle information you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
